SIA Engineering Company to provide aircraft services for new Malaysian budget airline

This includes engine spares on-site consignment and repair support services.

SGX-listed SIA Engineering Company Limited signed an Inventory Technical Management Programme with MyAirline, a new budget airline based in Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The programme includes support coverage for aircraft and engine spares on site consignment and pooling support services.

SIA Engineering will also assist in repairing and overhauling MYAirline’s fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

The deal has a term of 10 years, with an option to extend a further period of two years.

It previously inked an airframe maintenance agreement with Hawaiian Airlines.
