SIA Engineering appoints new CEO

Chin Yau Seng will take on the role as he steps down as SIA Senior VP for Cargo.

Chin Yau Seng will end his stint as Singapore Airlines (SIA) Senior Vice President for Cargo on 1 June following his appointment as CEO of SIA Engineering Company.

During his tenure as Senior Vice President for Cargo, Chin spearheaded multiple key digitalisation initiatives, the launch of the Parxl e-commerce platform, and the freighter partnership with DHL Express.

During the pandemic, he led the SIA Cargo team in delivering revenues for the airline.

Marvin Tan, the airline's current Senior Vice President for Customer Services and Operations, will succeed Chin as Senior Vice President for Cargo.

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
