Scoot to offer voucher refunds in full

This will be available for bookings made on or before 15 March.

Scoot is providing voucher refunds for the full value of bookings made on or before 15 March, and travel bookings up to 31 May, according to an announcement.

This comes after Singapore airlines announced that it will be waiving rebooking fees for tickets issued within the same duration.

The vouchers are valid for 12 months, and can be used for rebooking travel at a later date, when customers can confirm their new travel plans. 

Scoot will also launch a self-service portal within a few days for all eligible customers to obtain such voucher refunds.

For all bookings made on Scoot's website, mobile app or WeChat mini booking site between 15 March and 31 May, the company will be extending a one-time free date change, with which fare difference may apply. For such bookings, the one-time free date change can be utilised up to four hours before the scheduled flight departure time, for travel up until 31 March.
