Resorts world to lease Tiger planes
Resorts World has entered into a deal to lease its first plane from Tiger to fly in the punters from around Asia starting later this year.
The private flight service will be operated by pilots and cabin crew of Tiger Airways, while Resorts World Sentosa will take over the lease of the aircraft. The dedicated charter service will transport guests between Singapore and other cities within the airline’s region-wide network.
Resorts World Sentosa Director of Destination Sales Ms Liang Wern Ling said, "We promised Singapore that Resorts World Sentosa will bring tourism to the country and reinvent its tourism landscape. We are creating our own airline with this first aircraft, which shows our commitment to bringing the economic benefits to Singapore."
Details and flight schedules are still being finalised for this mode of transportation for overseas guests from the region travelling to and from Resorts World Sentosa.
