Scoot Airlines takes off in June

Singapore's newest carrier flies to Sydney starting June 4.

The airline will also fly to the Gold Coast a week later on 12 June. Tickets for June’s flights will be available for booking from today.

“Our launch preparations continue at a fast pace and we’re delighted to be able to put earlier flights on sale,” said Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s CEO. “The additional flights in June will be perfect for families who have yet to make plans for the school holidays, and those who wish to escape the heat in Singapore for some cool times in Australia – and vice versa!”

To celebrate the earlier launch, introductory airfares on the two routes connecting Singapore with Sydney and the Gold Coast will start from just $128 each way, including taxes. The two-day special promotion will start at 6pm Singapore time on 19 April 2012 and end at 9.59pm on 20 April 2012.
