Sino-Forest director resigns

James Bowland was a member of the Independent Committee, the Audit Committee and the Compensation and Nominating Committee.

Sino-Forest Corporation Monday announced James Bowland has resigned as a director. Mr. Bowland joined the Board in February, 2011 and was a member of the Independent Committee, the Audit Committee and the Compensation and Nominating Committee, according to a SIno-Forest report.

The Company would like to thank Mr. Bowland for his contributions to the Company.
