HLH Group names Foo Lee Peng as Group Financial Controller

She was deemed to have the requisite experience and capabilities to assume the post.

The Board of HLH Group announced the appointment of Foo Lee Peng as Group Financial Controller.

Ms Foo, 54, will be responsible for HLH Group's financial functions, tax and financial reporting.

Prior to her appointment, she was Esmart Holdings Limited’s Group Financial Controller from August 2009 to February 2011. Before this, she was Chief Financial Officer of Advance SCT Limited from April 2004 to April 2009 and Finance Manager of NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative from January 2000 to June 2003, according to an HLH Group report.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
