Bumitama Agriculture names Sie Eddy Kurniawan as Group CFO

The existing CFO, Johannes Tanuwijaya is re-designated to the position of Chief Strategy Officer.

The Board of Bumitama Agriculture announced the appointment of Sie Eddy Kurniawan as Chief Financial Officer.

With this new appointment, the existing CFO, Johannes Tanuwijaya is re-designated to the position of Chief Strategy Officer where his portfolio covers corporate strategy, commercial and logistic, purchasing, legal, internal audit and business controls. This new appointment and reorganisation is key to achievement of objective and strategic thrust and continuous growth.

Prior to joining the Group, Sie Eddy Kurniawan was the Chief Financial Officer of PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk, a plantation operating holding company listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. He started his career in 1994 as a Financial Auditor with Prasetio Utomo & Co., Bandung (associated with Arthur Andersen) with last held position as a Senior Auditor in 1996. Eddy then joined corporate advisory service practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jakarta, he left the firm in 2005 as an Associate Director. He was recruited by Sampoerna Strategic Group in 2005 as a Business Development Executive and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk in May 2007.
